Works in progress sought
After four years of bringing the best of New Zealand and Australian short film to cinemas throughout New Zealand, the Show Me Shorts festival is expanding this year’s programme to include workshops in Auckland and Wellington.
Morning workshops will be held during the first weekend of the festival in Auckland and Wellington and will consist of a script development workshop followed by a work in progress session, which will give three filmmakers the opportunity to screen short films in development.
Although the workshops are still several months away, festival organisers are keen to receive expressions of interest from film makers who may be interested in participating in the work in progress session. The session is open to filmmakers who will have a short film developed to a stage at which either a rough-cut or excerpt can be screened at the workshops on Saturday November 7 at The Academy in Auckland or on Saturday November 14 at The Paramount, Wellington.
Filmmakers who are interested in participating or who would like more information can contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
