We’re excited to announce the full programme of the 12th edition of Show Me Shorts Film Festival! This year we are showcasing 55 superb short films from New Zealand and around the world, at 26 cinemas nationwide from 28 October.
Show Me Shorts is pleased to announce that an extra two locations have been added to our 2016 programme. In addition to the 23 cinemas nationwide, Show Me Shorts will be screening in Nelson and Lego City!

We’re pleased to announce and congratulate the awards finalists for 2016! Winners will be announced, and prizes will be presented for nine award categories, including the Oscar®-accredited Lightbox Best Film Award and Best International Film Award. The winners will have their films screened at the Opening Night & Awards Ceremony at Auckland’s Civic Theatre on 1 October.

The winning films were announced in style at the Auckland Opening Night and Awards Ceremony at The Civic. From a field of nearly 1000 entrants to 46 selected films to 8 award winners, these films are truly outstanding achievements in filmmaking.
