Submissions are now open for the 12th edition of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading international short film festival.

Show Me Shorts 2017 will take place this Spring in more than 20 cinemas nationwide from Kaitaia to Stewart Island – and even Antarctica!

The festival is seeking short films between two and twenty minutes long, from Aotearoa and around the globe. New Zealand music videos between one and ten minutes long are also invited to submit.

Short films can be of any genre. We accept animation, documentary, comedy, horror, drama and everything in between. We do have a preference for well-crafted narrative-style films with strong audience appeal, as well as films that are making their premiere in our festival.

Submissions are processed via FilmFreeway or Withoutabox.
