We are committed to bringing both local and international short films to New Zealand audiences, as well as flying the flag for Kiwi short films abroad. To that end we frequently collaborate with other festivals, content providers and media organizations across the globe.
Our Festival Director, Gina Dellabarca has recently returned from presenting a selection of New Zealand short films at Taiwan’s Kaohsiung Film Festival (photos here), as well as attending as a guest of the Jinzhen Short Film Foundation in China earlier this year (read about it here).
Our relationship building with other international short film festivals continues, as next week we head to the China International New Media Short Film Festival, followed by the Leuven International Short Film Festival in Belgium.
China International New Media Short Film Festival (CSFF) in Shenzhen offers a platform for the exchange and promotion of short film copyright trading, script venture capital, project cooperation and new media technology demonstrations through its International Short Film Market.
Show Me Shorts has been invited along to exhibit in the market where we will be promoting our 2017 call for entries and a package of New Zealand short films available for sales and licensing opportunities.
The 7th CSFF International Short Film Market is held from 25-28 November 2016 and combines producers, investors, content buyers and short film makers, script writers and copyright proprietors.
