As we build towards the 17th edition of Show Me Shorts Film Festival in October 2022 we require some additional help. We’re looking for two exceptional humans to join our whānau and help us create exceptional experiences for audiences and our industry partners.

We are currently recruiting for a six-month contract role as Marketing Coordinator working two days per week, and a volunteer Festival Intern position working eight hours per week alongside your study or other commitments.

This is an opportunity for anyone keen to join us working on New Zealand’s leading international short film festival. Both of the roles must be Auckland-based as we need you to attend meetings and help work on events. Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand. We encourage applications from people of all ages, genders, ethnicities and backgrounds.

Marketing Coordinator

This is a part-time marketing and communications role for someone with a minimum of three-years experience in a similar field. The work encompasses coordinating all promotions and communications for Show Me Shorts 2022. Experience creating content for social media, websites and email newsletters is essential. The role will require approximately sixteen hours per week from 30 May to 31 October, including attendance at all key festival events.

Festival Intern

This is a part-time unpaid internship that covers a range of arts-admin, communication and event-support tasks. It is best suited to someone in tertiary education who can fit the work around their studies. The role will require approximately eight hours per week from 30 May to 16 December, with extra hours in mid-October assisting deliver our key events.
