What Binds Us

What keeps us together? Aroha? Obligation? Duty? Our loves, whānau and wider community are part of our identity. The people in this collection of short films are tightly wound and tightly bound. Kindred spirits seeking human connection and finding meaning in the everyday. Incidents we can all relate to take on heightened meaning through these stories. Like the desire to soothe a crying child, or save a damsel in distress; fantasising your dad is a superhero, or getting a crush on the postman.
