German Short Film Night 2020

Show Me Shorts and the Goethe Institute NZ present an evening of German short films. Join us to celebrate the cinema of Germany with this vibrant collection full comedy, cats, Christmas, amusement parks and football.

There are seven short films by top German filmmakers:
  1. Different Bayern directed by Matthias Koßmehl
  2. Cat Lake City directed by Antje Heyn
  3. The Centrifuge Brain Project directed by Till Nowak
  4. 90 Degrees North directed by Detsky Graffam
  5. My Border’s Joyfence directed by Michael Kranz
  6. The Little Nazi directed by Petra Lüschow
  7. The Pocket Organ directed by Carsten Strauch

This is an informal and fun event, and all are welcome. The screening takes place in the upstairs function room at The Kingslander. All films screen in the German language with English subtitles. Total run time is approx 87 minutes. No allocated seating, so first in best dressed. The bar will be open with food and drink available for purchase.
