Show Me Shorts offers a range of educational programmes, providing professional development and networking opportunities for experienced and emerging filmmakers, as well as special screenings for school groups and educational resources for use in primary, intermediate and secondary school classrooms.


Screenings for School Groups

Show Me Shorts offers screenings for school groups in cinemas throughout NZ as part of the festival each November. This is a specially designed programme for students aged 8-16 to view high-quality, fun, and educational short films on the big screen. Click through to find out more



Teaching short films in NZ schools

The Show Me Shorts in Schools kit gives educators access to nine great kiwi shorts and includes support material with four lesson plans for each film. These resources have been designed by educational professionals and focus on primary and intermediate classrooms and the NZ curriculum.
