British Short Film Night (BAFTA nominees)

Show Me Shorts presents a collection of BAFTA-nominated British short films. Join us to celebrate the cinema of Britain with this vibrant collection full of empathetic farmers, entrepreneurial young people, friendly nurses, zombies and gay men in the swinging sixties. This event will be broadcast into your home with a special link and password sent to ticket holders that will be valid for 48 hours.

There are six short films by top British filmmakers:

  2. 73 Cows directed by Alex Lockwood
  3. The Field directed by Sandhya Suri
  4. Bachelor, 38 directed by Angela Clarke
  5. The Blue Door directed by Paul Taylor
  6. Roughouse directed by Jonathan Hodgson

This event is free to attend, but with a suggested koha (donation) of $15.

The link to watch the films will be geo-blocked so that only people in New Zealand can watch the films.

Language: All films screen in the English language (subtitles provided where this is not the case).

Rating: R16 – we recommend these films for mature audiences aged 16 and above only.
